EasyTripAI.com is a next-generation AI-powered travel planner designed to give users the fastest, smartest, and most inspiring travel itineraries—all in one click. It delivers personalized day-by-day plans, local secrets, and “hidden gems” for any destination worldwide, focusing on usability and delight.
What I Did
- Frontend & Product UX: Designed a clean, mobile-first interface with Next.js and Tailwind, optimizing for SEO and user retention.
- AI Personalization: Integrated OpenAI’s GPT-4 API to generate step-by-step itineraries and unique hidden gems (local cafés, parks, offbeat experiences).
- Interactive Mapping: Used MapTiler for beautiful, live trip maps for every plan.
- Performance Optimization: Code-splitting, lazy loading, and advanced caching ensure top Core Web Vitals.
- Future-Proofing: Modular codebase for rapid addition of new features (save, sign-in, weather, more).
Key Challenges & Solutions
Challenge: Most AI trip planners generate generic, unexciting results.
Solution: Built custom prompt templates for OpenAI to surface truly unique recommendations and integrated live, interactive maps for a “real trip” feel.
